I love it because it promotes collaboration between workers as they think of things. Private offices but up barriers between creativity and getting things done.

Yeah, for your line of work, I think it's a great idea. It allows for quick and open communication and brainstorming. I'm curious to see how it works out.

Dude that's awesome. I'd much rather work in an environment like that. That's the way we do things in my CS classes, we like to get together and work as a team on things and figure stuff out and help each other.

Yeah...For collaboration it's hard to beat an open layout like this. From experience in the newsroom we share ideas, content, etc much better by being able to communicate quickly in a set up like this. If you like it you might try giving everyone a partition or at least some sort of personal space, best of both worlds.

Interesting, yea we read a lot of reports about productivity etc. in regards to open offices and wanted to give it a try. Can't hurt.

When I worked at Parker Remick, we had a set up kinda like this, but with quite a bit more space. It worked most of the time... except when people were on the phone. Otherwise, I think it was good.

Personally, I like that sort of working environment as long as I can have my back & screens facing a wall. ;-)

The monitors cramped together and lack of space made me laugh at first. But being that it's your marketing, PR and interns, it's probably a good thing ;)
