Here's an image of DormAid's biz cards:

JB

Re: Business Cards 101

I'm a big fan of Moo. Cool concept. I regularly recommend them to creative (photographers, illustrators) that are looking for cards.

Another great way to get nice cards for cheap, but won't work as well for all professions.

Re: Business Cards 101

Very cool, do you have any pictures of the business cards that you can post, I'd love to see them. Thanks for the comment!

Re: Business Cards 101

Yea, I contacted them and we should be able to give away a set on the blog... I will have more later in the week.

Re: Business Cards 101

those dollar cards are sick!

Re: Business Cards 101

I HATE getting a bad business card.

I'm a big fan of Moo Printing (http://www.moo.com/). I just ordered business cards for all the theatre work I do, it's much easier than carrying around my headshot. I use one headshot for acting, one for directing and then I put another "fun" picture on one side, with all my info on the back of the card. So in my pack of 50 I have 3 different images I can use to make an impression depending on who I'm talking with and then best part is that it didn't cost me anything extra. They can import images from Flickr or Facebook (yes that can be dangerous) and they also have a small version if you want to play with size. The cards are a little pricey ($22 for 50 cards), but they also offer discounts for the more you order. I also like that I can change up the pictures as often as I want. It's not a bad way to experiment with a business card before you get a million printed.

Re: Business Cards 101

Yea, such an important part of business. I believe having a well designed and interesting business card can go along way. What does your business card look like?

Re: Business Cards 101

I love this post Derek, I was just meeting with a client today and we were dicussing the importance of having a business card that catches viewers attention and forces them either actually look at the card or even keep it because it is so unique from the average business card.

Jace J.
