I agree with you on the refrigerator, but if you need computers and hardware, I still think financing is the best option for a cash starved startup.

I disagree on financing items - especially as something as small as a computer and a refrigerator. Start ups should focus on not paying a dollar more on anything and financing contradicts that. Great post. Might be cool if, in the future, you talked about why it is that, when you're just getting started, marketing, hiring employees, etc might be more important than having your infrastructure bought and paid for - computers, office equipment, etc.
