Morbid example, but it's completely right.

I think it was Edison who was asked a question about it taking him something like 2000 failed attempts to create an incandescent light bulb. I haven't been able to source the ACTUAL quote, but it was something along the lines of "I didn't fail, I found 2000 ways NOT to make a light bulb."

Sometimes knowing what doesn't work is as important as finding the one way that does (which you guys will).
